Office of Research at UIC’s College of Dentistry are hosting the first Virtual Pain and Sleep Symposium on August 17th & 18th 2020. This symposium is targeted at researchers who are interested in microRNA and (noncoding RNA) biology.

With guidance from University Engineers and colleagues at the College of Engineering, the UIC College of Dentistry is installing two systems to assure healthy air quality in the building. As communicated earlier this week, the College of Dentistry Clinics will be re-opened in June.
Patients who have an appointment will be admitted inside the building. Note that everyone must wear a mask before entry, will have their temperature taken, and are required to follow social-distancing norms as dictated by state of Illinois.

Clinics at College of Dentistry were closed to routine patient care on March 18 at the direction of Governor of Illinois in response to COVID-19 disease outbreak and all patients’ appointments were cancelled (Dental Student, Resident or Faculty Dental Practice), through May 29. Emergency dental care was provided to patients during this time frame.
