UIC’s 2016 TechTeach Conference has the theme Reaching Beyond Challenges.
The conference will bring together faculty, staff, and IT professionals who will demonstrate innovative techniques and tools along with the most effective use of technology in teaching and learning.
It will be held Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Student Center East in the 3rd Floor Conference Center.
Dr. Alison Doubleday, Assistant Professor, Oral Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences, will be the featured speaker at the event. Her keynote talk will be “Technology and Learning: How a Student’s Perspective can help teachers reach beyond challenges.” See 2016.techteach.uic.edu/keynote-2/.
Also giving presentations based on their experiences with the DMD curriculum are Dr. Robert Druzinsky, Clinical Associate Professor, Oral Biology; Dr. Anne Koerber, Professor and Educational Assessment Director, Oral Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences; and Dr. Meagan Strotman, Clinical Assistant Professor, Restorative Dentistry
